Anderson, Sapp win Carroll Amateur titles in playoff fashion

The 2011 Carroll Amateur was filled with battles against the top players in both the Championship and Senior Divisions. Scott Cook and J.D. Anderson of the Championship Flight found themselves in a play-off after finishing three rounds tied at 209. It took three holes to settle their tie with J.D. Anderson making birdie on #3. The Senior Flight battle between Chris Vandell and Todd Sapp was resolved quickly as Sapp birdied the first play-off hole. Vandell and Sapp were tied after two rounds at 140.
