Ault wins second straight Fort Dodge Amateur
Bill Manske captures 11th Senior title

Kevin Ault (L) and Bill Manske won the Open and Senior Divsions of the Fort Dodge Am, respectively
Kevin Ault of Waverly won his second straight Fort Dodge Amateur on Sunday, although the 2011 edition required a bit more work. Ault put together three under-par rounds to finish six strokes ahead of Kirby Pettitt of Carroll and seven clear of Jon Olson and Michael Wuertz who tied for third. Ault's rounds of 69-68-70 over the par 71 layout left him at six-under par for the tournament. Ault was declared the winner in 2010 after the final two rounds were cancelled due to heavy rains at Fort Dodge Country Club. His first round 68 and victory in a four-hole playoff earned him the win.
A first round 66 propelled Algona's Bill Manske to a four stroke win in the Senior Division. Manske followed up the 66 with a 74 in round two and a final round 71 to finish at 2-under 211 to earn his 11th Senior point title. Patrick Ryan of West Des Moines, after an opening round 79, closed with two rounds of 68 to vault into second place while Jim Curell of Boone was third after shooting a six-over par 219.
Fort Dodge resident Phil Joselyn won the Super Senior Division by nine shots over Bob Gitchell of Ames. The Super Seniors competed over 36 holes and Joselyn shot rounds of 76-73 to finish at 7-over 149. Gitchell, after opening with 83, shot 75 in round two.
