Pettitt storms to Lake Creek title
Lake Creek Amateur - Storm Lake - July 16-17
Kirby Pettitt was untouchable in the 2011 Lake Creek Amateur. He swept the championship finishing 10 strokes under par, including a second round where he had it to 8-under thru 15 holes before finishing with a 65. Bret Taylor finished as runner-up, eight strokes behind Pettitt. The Senior Division at Lake Creek is contested over 36 holes, with Bill Manske emerging victorious. Manske finished at 3-under while Todd Sapp was runner-up after finishing his two rounds at one over par.
