2012 Brokers International, Ltd Iowa Open
Lake Panorama GC | August 17-19
The field is full for the Brokers International, Ltd. Iowa Open, which will be held Aug. 17-19 at Lake Panorama National. The field of 144 players includes 111 golf professionals and 33 amateurs. Forty-seven of the professional players are coming to the Iowa tournament from other states.
Tim Ailes of Lewis Center, Ohio, won the 2011 tournament and is scheduled to return to defend his title. He earned a $10,000 check for his 2011 win. Brokers International, Ltd. has increased this year’s top prize to $25,000.
This is the third year for the tournament under a five-year contract between the Iowa Section PGA and Brokers International, Ltd. It previously was played at Lake Panorama National from 1985 to 1998.
