Since 1981 the IGA has presented annual awards to outstanding courses, superintendents, professionals and managers at our member clubs. Beginning in 1985 with Joe August, given from time to time at the discretion of the IGA Board is the George Turner Award. This award recognizes an individual or group of individuals whose volunteer contributions to golf in Iowa deserve to be recognized.
