Iowa Golf Hall of Famer Bill Rose passes away
Bill Rose, member of the 2006 class of the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame, passed away on Sunday, February 17th. Bill was a fantastic gentleman and a treat to see at IGA events throughout the summer. He was still active teaching the game at the Wakonda Club, where he worked as the head professional earlier in his career. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at the St. Augustin Catholic Church in Des Moines. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Friday, February 22 at 10:30 a.m.
