Muscatine native will make 2nd trip to Senior Am

John Peters of Muscatine captured the lone available spot at the U.S. Senior Am Qualifier at Carroll Country Club on August 29th. Peters carded four birdies against one bogey for a 3-under-par 68 and earned a trip to Victoria National G.C. in Newburgh, Ind. David Studer of West Des Moines is the 1st alternate while Marion's Dan Naughton owns the 2nd alternate position. Both fired 3-over-par 74's. Complete Qualifying Results

Peters has experienced past success at Victoria National. In 2004 Peters finished 2nd at the U.S. Senior Challenge Individual Championship played at Victoria National! The 2006 U.S. Senior Am Championship will be contested from September 16th - 21st.
