| Pair of 73's earn title for Des Moines G&CC Member
Justin Schulte fired an even par 73 on Saturday to capture the 2007 Iowa Mid-Amateur Championship at Des Moines Golf and Country Club. Schulte's round featured 3 birdies and 3 bogeys to finish 1 shot clear of defending champion Mike McCoy. First round leader Jon Brown was unable to carry the momentum from day one over to the final round as he fired an 80 to finish at 4-over, tied for 5th.
Robb Pomerantz won the Senior Division by two shots over John Peters. Pomerantz paired a final round 74 with an opening round 77 to finish at 5-over 151.
