Brad George of Marion followed an opening round 71 with a 4-under 67 to easily claim the medalist honors at the qualifier for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship on Monday.  George claimed the lone qualifying spot while Aaron Smith of Pella and John Brooks of Edina, MN finished 7 strokes back and will be first and second alternates, respectively.  The 60th playing of the U.S. Junior Am will be held at Boone Valley Golf Club in Augusta, MO from July 23rd-28th.  ...results
