IGA Foundation make donation to The First Tee of Greater Des Moines

The IGA Foundation, the 501c(3) foundation started by the Iowa Golf Association in 2011, recently donated $1,000 to The First Tee of Greater Des Moines. The money will be used for the First Tee's National School Program, which offers kids an introduction to golf using SNAG. SNAG is an acronym for Starting New At Golf. Using modified equipment, SNAG is a proven learning and training tool for beginning golfers. The vision for the National School Program is to introduce the game through school's physical education classes while continuing to instill the nine core values of The First Tee program.
