Member Play Day at The Harvester
The par-3 third hole at The Harvester Golf Club in Rhodes
On Monday, May 21st IGA members can play The Harvester Golf Club in Rhodes for a discounted rate. The first of a series of three IGA Member Play Days, for $70 a member will receive 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls and lunch. The normal green fee at The Harvester for that date would be $89 plus tax and would not include lunch.
Renowned architect Keith Foster designed The Harvester Golf Club. Among its many awards and honors, Golfweek and Golf Digest have ranked The Harvester “#1 Golf Course in Iowa” from 2002-2010 and 2003-2010, respectively. The Harvester has been the site of two IGA Match Play Championships and the 2007 Iowa Amateur.
Member Play Days were started in 2011. They are days where the IGA has setup golf for its members at either a private club that wouldn’t normally allow outside play or at a daily fee course for a discounted rate. There is no formal competition during these fun, casual play days…just come, have fun and any games you play are between you and your group. If you don’t have a group of four, just sign up individually and we will pair you up with others.
In addition to the day at The Harvester, the IGA has a Member Play Day at Oakwood Country Club in the Quad Cities on Monday, June 4th and at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines on Monday, September 24th.
