| Manske's 68 Wins IGA Father-Son Championship |
| Anderson's finish one stroke back

Bill and Josh Manske of Algona shot an alternate shot 3-under par 68 to win the overall champions trophy at the IGA Father/Son Championship held this weekend at Jester Park GC. The Manske's, who played on Saturday morning, managed four birdies against just a single bogey in their round.
Terry and Zack Anderson of Iowa City played Sunday morning so they knew the score to beat. They almost matched it. Team Anderson also only made one bogey but with three birdies (on holes 2,3 and 4) they fell just one shy.
In the 8 & under Junior Division, Mike and Dakota Angstead of Ankeny shot a 65 over 18 holes on the par-3 course to win by three over Ty and Ben Stewart of Ames. The 9 & 10 Age Division was shared by Chad and Jordan Proehl of Urbandale and Troy and Tate Arends of Orange City after each team went over the par-3 course in 59 strokes. Finishing one back with a 60 was John and John Stroud.
Mike and Michael Ketcham of Waukee took home top honors in the Young Adult Division (kids 11 & 12 years). The Young Adult Division plays on the regulation course with the son able to tee off from a shorter set of tees when it is his turn. The Ketcham's shot a 6-over 77 on their round to win by four strokes over Carter and Chad Mallett of Norwalk.
